SPOILERS AHEAD

Tony Schiavone was on hand to speak with the Don Callis Family, with Kyle Fletcher talking about his recent win over Kazuchika Okada and how it is his destiny to win the Continental Classic tournament. Callis then took the mic to put over his Family, with Don saying no one was bad enough to step to them. Cue Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs, and we have a tag match to kick things off.

Davis and Hobbs ended up getting the win over the team of Lance Archer and Konosuke Takeshita after Hobbs nailed Archer with a powerslam. Takeshita attempted to sneak attack Hobbs after the bell but ate a spinebuster, with Powerhouse indicating that he’s coming for Takeshita’s International Title.

In AEW’s women’s division, Deonna Purrazzo got a singles win over indie favourite Shazza McKenzie, whilst the returning Toni Storm wrestled her first AEW televised match since August, picking up a win over Harley Cameron.

After signing on to face ROH World Champion Chris Jericho at Final Battle, Matt Cardona got a tune-up win over Jericho’s Learning Tree associate Bryan Keith, with Jericho watching the action from the broadcast position.
