Report: Bronson Reed's Broken Foot Surgery More Complicated Than Expected
Bronson Reed has had surgery on his broken foot
Dec 12, 2024
Bronson Reed is set for a spell on WWE’s injury list after breaking his foot during the recent men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, with ‘Big Bronson’ having undergone surgery to correct the issue.
Reed shared a picture of himself giving the thumbs up from his hospital bed in Birmingham, Alabama on X/Twitter with the caption: "On the road to f*** s*** up."
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Reed's surgery was more complicated than expected but any problems were solved.
"The only thing I heard was it was one of those things where it was more complicated than they thought when they went in there. But apparently they got it all done and he’s on the road to recovery," Alvarez said.
The injury occurred when Reed went for a Tsunami splash from the top of the WarGames cage onto Roman Reigns on a table, but Reed took the impact of the move on his foot rather than torso, breaking his foot instantly.
It’s believed that Reed will miss WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, with Reed and WWE believed to be targeting a May/June comeback.
The former NXT North American Champion has been strongly pushed in 2024 after dominating Seth Rollins during a number of attacks on WWE Raw.
