Spoilers For Chris Jericho-Matt Cardona Contract Signing On ROH TV

Although Chris Jericho vs. Matt Cardona for the ROH World Championship is already official for Final Battle, a contract signing was taped for ROH TV following Wednesday night's Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite.

The contract signing opened with Chris Jericho telling Matt Cardona that he was lucky to even have the title match because being in the ring with Jericho puts him on a greater level. Jericho added there was no way Cardona was going to become ROH World Champion, though, which prompted Cardona to tell 'Le Champion' that everything that comes out of Jericho's mouth is BS. Cardona then accused Jericho of leeching off Ring of Honor and proclaimed that he wasn't going to let the biggest opportunity of his career slip through his fingers at Final Battle.

Cardona then signed the contract and Jericho did too after briefly stalling. The ROH World Champion then offered to shake Cardona's hand, who declined and instead nailed Jericho before the former Zack Ryder fended off Bryan Keith and put Jericho through a table.

ROH Final Battle will emanate from New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on Friday, December 20. You can buy tickets for the show now.

Other matches set for ROH Final Battle are Sammy Guevara & Dustin Rhodes vs. Vincent & Dutch of The Righteous in a Texas Bullrope Match for the ROH World Tag Team Titles and Red Velvet vs. Leyla Hirsch for the ROH World Television Title.
