Major Update On Adam Copeland AEW Return Plans

After FTR's promo on the December 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, many fans now expect Adam Copeland to make his return on the January 1, 2025 episode of the show.

A new report from Fightful Select suggests that the former two-time TNT Champion is expected back in the ring imminently.

The report reiterated that Copeland has been cleared for action for weeks and noted that most in the company expect to see him when AEW travel to Asheville, North Carolina (the 51-year-old lives in the area) for the first Dynamite of the year.

Copeland is real-life friends with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, who said they wouldn't be coming alone when they clash with the Death Riders on January 1.

AEW are looking to make the show a big one, as it will be their first simulcast on TBS and Max.

Copeland has been sidelined since breaking his leg during his Barbed Wire Cage Match with Malakai Black at Double or Nothing in May. While on the shelf, he has been filming scenes for the second season of Disney+ series Percy Jackson.

Last month, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that he was ready to get 'back at it' after being cleared to train.
