Major Update On Daniel Garcia's AEW Future

Will Daniel Garcia re-sign with AEW?

A major update on Daniel Garcia's future with All Elite Wrestling has emerged.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Garcia has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract but people within AEW believe he will most likely re-sign with the promotion.

"Nothing is official but people there do believe that Garcia is most likely re-signing," Alvarez said. Dave Meltzer also noted he has been hearing the same thing from his sources.

Daniel Garcia's contract with All Elite Wrestling is expiring in 2024. He has not been on AEW TV since the July 3 edition of Dynamite when MJF turned heel by attacking Garcia. The former ROH Pure Champion was later taken away in an ambulance, with Will Ospreay noting on TV that Garcia had lost feeling in his arms.

The angle was reportedly done in case Garcia doesn't sign a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. Should he ink a new contract, the expectation is Garcia will enter a feud with MJF.

Garcia has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2021, joining the company despite heavy interest from WWE.
