One of WWE's biggest-ever stars won't be going anywhere.

According to Fightful Select, Randy Orton has signed a new contract with WWE that will keep him under contract until late 2029. Orton will be 49 years old by the time his next deal expires.

Orton signed a five-year deal with WWE in 2019. A WWE higher-up noted that Orton and the company agreed to a new deal in 2024 instead of WWE simply adding injury time to Orton's deal signed in 2019 because "the guaranteed money associated with contracts now is a drastic shift from what it was in 2019. There have been changes to our live event schedule, touring, international dates, media obligations, merchandise and social media that would be much more fair to just reach a new deal in many situations."

Orton previously teased going to AEW in 2019 but there was no discussion about the 14-time world champion going to All Elite Wrestling this time around.

Randy Orton has been a part of WWE since 2000 and he is one of the company's biggest stars of the 21st century. In addition to his 14 world title reigns, Orton is a former Intercontinental, United States, and WWE Tag Team champion. He is also a two-time Royal Rumble winner and one-time Money in the Bank winner.

Orton has been back full-time with WWE since November 2023 following 18 months out of action. The 44-year-old almost returned with new entrance music and a new look but he ultimately changed his mind.
