A recent poll by YouGov has shed some light on how Americans feel about the sexual assault allegations levelled against former WWE owner Vince McMahon.

A sample of Americans were asked about the allegations against McMahon as part of a wider poll concerning sexual assault allegations against celebrities, athletes and other notable public figures.

Per the poll, 24% of those asked answered 'Yes' to the question "As far as you know, are any sexual assault allegations against the following person true?" (with regards to McMahon). 9% responded 'No', while 68% responded 'Not sure'.

Janel Grant, who was employed by WWE from June 2019 until March 2022, has accused Vince McMahon of sex trafficking, sexual assault and physical and emotional abuse. Earlier this month, a judge accepted Grant's amended lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE, though the judge ruled to delay discovery.

Lawyers for McMahon, Laurinaitis and WWE have repeatedly pushed for the lawsuit to be moved to arbitration, citing a clause in the NDA that Grant and McMahon signed which stated all disagreements are to be resolved in private mediation. Defendants are expected to resubmit motions to compel arbitration by June 13.
