Malakai Black Bows To The Crowd Following AEW All Out Match

Malakai Black gone from AEW?

Malakai Black looks to be taking a step back from All Elite Wrestling, at least for the time being.

Black and his House of Black stablemates Brody King and Buddy Matthews were in action at All Out as they lost to Darby Allin, Sting, and Miro. Malakai was the talent who took the pin for his team, being pinned following mist to the eyes from Sting before Darby applied his Mouse Trap pin for the 1-2-3.

While the moment did not air during the pay-per-view, the House of Black hugged following the contest and before Malakai headed backstage, he blew a kiss to the fans in attendance and bowed, prompting speculation that he will be at least going on hiatus from All Elite Wrestling.

The AEW star's future with the promotion has been uncertain in recent days following a report from Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. which noted that Black had requested his release due to personal issues and "demoralisation" because of his booking. Mike Johnson of PWInsider added that a personal situation had been weighing heavily on Black and he had privately talked about taking a long, possibly permanent break from pro wrestling.

Black has been a part of AEW since July of 2021, having signed with the promotion after his WWE release.
