Malakai Black Vs. Cody Rhodes Set For AEW Dynamite: Homecoming

Malakai Black's first match in All Elite Wrestling has been set. 

It was announced during night two of AEW Fyter Fest that Black will make his in-ring debut on August 4 at AEW Dynamite: Homecoming against Cody Rhodes. 

Homecoming will mark the first time AEW has visited Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida since resuming touring on July 7. Tony Khan's promotion had made the amphitheater AEW's home base during much of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The feud between Black and Rhodes has been bubbling away since The Harbinger Of Fury made his AEW debut on July 7. Black announced his arrival with a Spinning Heel Kick to Arn Anderson and then a second one to Rhodes after Cody tried to defend his head coach. 

The bad blood between the two wrestlers only intensified the following week after Cody called out Black and both men ended up brawling before being separated by security.  

Malakai Black vs. Cody Rhodes is the only match set for AEW Dynamite: Homecoming so far.
