Mark Henry On Braun Strowman In AEW: "There Already Is Interest On Both Sides"

A monster among All Elite men?

Could former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman be on his way to All Elite Wrestling?

If recent AEW signing Mark Henry has his way, he'd make it so.

Henry (who discovered Strowman, connecting with him all the way back in 2012 at the World's Strongest Man competition) spoke with TMZ about the possibility of the former WWE star ending up with AEW.

"Super high on my list," Henry said. "It's not an all Mark Henry decision, but there already is interest on both sides. Hopefully, by the time he's allowed to wrestle in August, I think the middle of August, then we can have a serious conversation about contractual things of that nature but right now there's interest on both sides."

In addition to serving as an analyst for future AEW program Rampage, Henry will also assist with talent development in AEW.

Strowman was released from WWE on June 2, in something of a major surprise. He was let go the same day as Aleister Black, another wrestler whose name is linked to a reported future run with AEW.

A report from PWInsider claims that Strowman is seeking $20,000 to $25,000 for three-hour appearances, with airfare, accommodations, and transportation covered.
