A Match Was Stopped At AEW Dark: Elevation Due To An Injury
AEW ran a Dark: Elevation taping in Orlando, Florida on Friday, but there was some worrying news coming out of the event.
Action Andretti took on Slim J in a singles match, but the bout was cut short due to an injury suffered by Andretti. He was checked by medics, and the match was stopped in a no contest. Per JJ Williams of Fightful, Andretti was able to walk to the back on his own.
A very positive update has been provided by Andretti himself, who took to Twitter to give the all clear on any potential injury news;
"To anyone wondering, I did not suffer any injuries yesterday at the dark tapings in Orlando and am 100% healthy! I want to thank the AEW medical team, and the rest of the AEW staff for taking the proper safety precautions to ensure that I was ok and had no serious injuries.”
Andretti burst onto the scene in AEW with an upset victory over Chris Jericho, and has since been feuding with the Jericho Appreciation Society, whilst wrestling on the likes of Dark and Dark: Elevation.
