Matches Announced For Next Week's WWE NXT
All the action set for August 31
After the events of TakeOver 36, and the impending ‘changes’ promised by Nick Khan and WWE, WWE has revealed matches and segments for the August 31 edition of NXT.
After his impressive victory over WALTER, the new NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov will be in the Capitol Wrestling Center. This will be Dragunov’s first appearance since ending WALTER’s record smashing reign on August 22.
The recently returned Ridge Holland will be in action against Tommasso Ciampa, whilst Johnny Gargano will face LA Knight, and Kyle O'Reilly will battle Duke Hudson.
Roderick Strong will also be in action, with the return of the Diamond Mine Open Challenge.
The August 31 and September 7 episodes are being taped ahead of schedule, with WWE recording several episodes of NXT at a time going forward. There is so far no word on when WWE is scheduling the next round of NXT tapings.
