Matt Cardona Reveals New GCW World Title

GCW World Champion Matt Cardona has controversially unveiled a new GCW World Title belt.

Now known as the ‘Universal’ championship, and featuring velcro straps and a spinning central plate, this new belt will certainly help Cardona in his quest to get every GCW fan on planet Earth to hate him.

The belt also has a purple strap, and features Cardona’s catchphrases ‘always ready’, ‘still here’, and his ‘L.I.’ (Long Island) hand gestures on the side plates.

Cardona revealed the title belt on twitter, with the caption ‘The Champ Is STILL Here!’

Due to his association with WWE for the majority of his career, his very ‘WWE style’ of wrestling, and love of action figures and Disney, Cardona made very few friends when he arrived in GCW, and has done everything in his power to bate and annoy them.

Cardona’s shock defeat of Nick Gage on July 24 saw the former WWE Intercontinental Champion get showered with debris, from beer cans and bottles, to action figures and even a pizza cutter.
