Matt Hardy Concerned About 'Unneeded Pressure' On Brother Jeff

WWE Have Recently Incorporated Charismatic Enigma's Addiction Issues Into Storylines...

AEW star Matt Hardy has responded to a fan who commented on his brother Jeff's current creative direction on WWE television.

The fan posited that Jeff is being presented as a 'junkie' with 'no reason to celebrate his time with us' and wondered what would happen if he were to relapse.

Matt replied to the comment, stating that he was very happy with his role and treatment in AEW but shared the fan's concern before mentioning the 'unneeded pressure' being put on his brother.

You can see the exchange below.

Since returning from an injury layoff, Jeff's previous indiscretions and addictions have been a focal point of his WWE storylines.

The younger Hardy stated on a recent episode of WWE Chronicle that he has an upcoming court appearance related to his late 2019 DWI arrest scheduled for July 16.

Jeff is scheduled to face Sheamus in a Bar Fight at WWE's The Horror Show at Extreme Rules on July 19.
