Matt Hardy Confirms A Hardys Match Was Discussed For AEW All In

The Hardys could have had an AEW match at Wembley Stadium.

On a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt revealed that he and brother Jeff Hardy had been considered for a match at AEW All In.

Matt explained that the plan would have seen himself and Jeff team with Paul Wight (formerly known as the Big Show in WWE) to take on the heel trio of Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh.

Matt went on to explain the reason he believes the match didn't take place:

"That obviously didn't happen, and it probably [...] the reason it did not happen is because Jeff had issues getting a visa and going over there because of the legal troubles he had most recently."

In June 2022, Jeff was arrested in Florida, the charges being his third DUI within 10 years, driving with a suspended license, and failing to have a DUI interlock equipped in his car. He served a 38-day jail sentence and received two years of probation. He was also suspended from AEW, but has since returned to the company after completing a rehabilitation program.
