Matt Hardy Doesn't Rule Out WWE WrestleMania Return

Matt Hardy teases potential WWE WrestleMania return

Matt Hardy’s All Elite Wrestling future is up in the air, with the veteran talent yet to sign a new contract after his previous deal expired in March.

Prior to AEW, Hardy enjoyed several gold laden runs in WWE, with the return of The Hardy Boys at WrestleMania 33 one of the biggest moments in WrestleMania history. Hardy was a recent guest on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, and when asked of that Mania return, Hardy didn’t rule out making another in the future:

"It's great that people think that [a Hardy Mania surprise is possible]. That makes me happy. It makes people excited. If you hear someone talk about a ladder match, are they gonna show up? That's great. I don't know. It's pro wrestling and in pro wrestling, never say never,” said Hardy.

WWE WrestleMania XL is only days away and is set to feature a multi-team ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but even if Matt Hardy is free to make a potential surprise WWE return, tag partner Jeff Hardy is still under contract with AEW.
