Matt Hardy Reveals His Dream AEW Matches For Jeff Hardy
Matt Hardy wants to see Jeff Hardy face MJF, Kenny Omega, and more in AEW
After a year out following an arrest and suspension, Jeff Hardy recently returned to AEW programming with a vow to not screw up again. His first match is scheduled for the upcoming AEW Rampage event, in which he will compete alongside his brother Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy, and FTW Champion Hook to take on The Firm faction of Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, Ethan Page, & Stokely Hathaway in a cinematic ‘Firm Deletion’ match from the Hardy Family Compound.
Matt Hardy has discussed the return of his brother to AEW on his Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, and has even laid out some potential dream matches that he would like to see Jeff have in this return run with the promotion. The names mentioned by Matt included the AEW World Champion MJF, Kenny Omega, the current TNT Champion Wardlow, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, and Sammy Guevara.
There are certainly plenty of options for fresh matches in AEW for Jeff. Thus far, he has competed against the likes of Butcher & Blade, Private Party, Darby Allin, Adam Cole, and the Young Bucks.
