Matt Menard has signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling, with ‘Daddy Magic’ signing a new five-year deal with the organisation.
The 2point0 member’s deal was originally believed to be expiring around All In Texas in July 2025, but a report from Fightful Select states that Menard has re-upped with the company, with his new agreement set to expire at some point in 2030. Menard is reportedly ‘ecstatic’ to stay with AEW.
A former member of the Jericho Appreciation Society, Menard has since transitioned into the commentary booth, occasionally dusting off his boots to wrestle alongside tag partner Cool Hand Angelo Parker. Menard has competed just 14 times since January 2024, Menard wrestling on just four occasions so far in 2025.
Menard and Parker debuted for AEW in August 2021, and have been aligned with Daniel Garcia since their arrival in the company. The three are still a unified force in AEW, with Menard mainly serving as Garcia’s mentor/manager.
Menard and Parker were previously part of WWE NXT under the name ‘Ever-Rise’, wrestling for the black and gold brand from 2019 until their release in 2021.
