Matt Striker Finished With IMPACT Wrestling

Striker joined IMPACT's commentary team in January 2021

It appears that IMPACT commentator Matt Striker has finished up with the company.

Part of IMPACT’s commentary team with D’Lo Brown since January 2021, Striker tweeted then subsequently deleted the following: "I am disappointed that my time with #ImpactonAXSTV is done. I REALLY enjoyed that locker room.  Thanks for allowing me to tell your story. Thanks, everyone. Stay safe.”

PWInsider later confirmed that Striker has indeed left IMPACT, but no reason has yet been given as to why his run with the promotion has ended. PWInsider also noted that D’Lo Brown is expected to remain part of IMPACT’s commentary team going forward.

The pair took over from Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne at Hard To Kill 2021, with Mathews returning to the role briefly as Striker took time away ‘on assignment’ in May 2021.

After starting his commentary with WWE ECW, and SmackDown, Striker has handled commentary duties for the likes of Lucha Underground, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and New Japan pro Wrestling prior to his run with IMPACT.
