Max Dupri Returns To Maximum Male Models On WWE SmackDown

It was a short time away

One week after he was apparently removed from the Maximum Male Models group, Max Dupri returned to the faction on Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown.

Dupri appeared with sister Maxxine, as well as Mace and Mansoor, with the latter two unveiling MMM's new beachwear collection.

Dupri was not a part of last week's Maximum Male Models segment, in which Maxxine was introduced as part of the group. A report from PW Torch claimed that Dupri was finished with the group, a call made by Vince McMahon. Reports indicated that McMahon didn't like Dupri's delivery in the role.

In the fallout of Dupri being pulled from the group, Fightful Select wrote about the possibility of the former Eli Drake and LA Knight resurfacing in another on-screen role in WWE, as Dupri had, "... some supporters in WWE that enjoy his work."

McMahon officially retired from WWE last Friday, with Triple H subsequently taking over as head of creative. Dupri (under the Knight name) was signed to NXT in early 2021, when Triple H was still in charge of the brand.
