Mel Removed From AEW Roster Page

Is Mel still in AEW?

Mel is no longer listed as an All Elite Wrestling performer on the promotion's roster page

Mel was previously listed as an active wrestler but she has been removed from AEW's official roster page in the last few days.

There is no word on if Mel has departed AEW. The former Nightmare Collective member hasn't competed inside an AEW ring since an August 2020 episode of Dark when she defeated Red Velvet. She has performed on the independent wrestling scene in 2021, though, for the United States' Insane Championship Wrestling promotion and Cape Championship Wrestling.

A recent report from Fightful noted Mel wasn't factored into any imminent creative plans in AEW and she was said to have been doing well outside of wrestling, particularly in her day job.

Formerly wrestling as Melanie Cruise, Mel made her All Elite Wrestling debut in December 2019 as a member of the Nightmare Collective. The Brandi Rhodes-led faction disbanded soon after, however, and former member Awesome Kong departed AEW in June 2021.
