Men's WarGames Match Official For WWE Survivor Series 2023

WWE Survivor Series 2023 will see the return of WarGames

As soon as Survivor Series appeared on the horizon, WWE fans the world over were wondering just one thing; will WarGames take place once more? That question was answered on the November 6 edition of WWE RAW, with it confirmed that a men’s WarGames match will take place at Survivor Series on November 25.

RAW was main evented by Seth Rollins successfully defending the World heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn, only for the two to be rushed by Judgment Day and JD McDonagh after the conclusion of the match. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso ran out to assist Rollins and Zayn, only for RAW General Manager Adam Pierce to come out and do his best William Regal impersonation, decreeing that the two sides will settle their differences in WarGames.

This will be the second men’s WarGames match in WWE main roster history, following on from the 2022 Survivor Series that saw The Bloodline defeat Team Brawling Brutes. The match had been an NXT exclusive for several years, and was a staple of Jim Crockett Promotions/WCW in the 80s and 90s.

No women’s WarGames match has yet been announced, but it’s assumed that one will take place.
