Men's WWE NXT Breakout Tournament Winner Revealed
WWE NXT has a new men's Breakout Tournament winner
The winner of the men's WWE NXT Breakout Tournament was crowned at New Year's Evil on Tuesday night.
Oba Femi went one-on-one with Riley Osborne in the tournament final and Femi managed to score the victory following a Powerbomb. As a result of his win, Femi can cash in a contract for an NXT title match at any time.
After spending time as a track and field athlete at the University of Alabama, Femi signed with WWE in August 2022. He was previously a part of the company's NIL programme.
Oba Femi advanced to the final following wins over Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.
Previous men's NXT Breakout Tournament winners include Jordan Myles (ACH) in 2019 and Carmelo Hayes in 2021. Myles was unsuccessful when he cashed in to face then-NXT Champion Adam Cole, while Hayes successfully cashed in on Isaiah "Swerve" Scott (Swerve Strickland) to win the NXT North American Title.
Lola Vice was the 2023 women's Breakout Tournament winner. She has yet to cash in her title opportunity.
