Mia Yim Given New Nickname On WWE Raw

Mia revealed her new nickname on last night's Raw

Mia Yim wrestled her first match since returning to WWE last night, quickly beating Tamina with the Eat Defeat on Raw.

Before the match, Yim and the rest of The OC were interviewed backstage. During the interview, Yim revealed that her new nickname was 'Michin'. She then explained that Michin is Korean for 'crazy'.

WWE recently trademarked the term, leading to speculation that it would be used for Mia due to her Korean ancestry.

Later in the show, Yim came out to officially announce that she was joining Team Belair at Survivor Series WarGames. She rejected Damage CTRL's offer to join their team after they had tried to recruit her earlier in the night.

Rhea Ripley subsequently joined Team Damage CTRL.

Mia primarily wrestled on the NXT brand during her first spell with WWE, before being released on November 4, 2021 as part of the mass releases attributed to COVID-19 related budget cuts. She had been drafted to Raw prior to her release, but was cut before reappearing on television.

Yim returned to WWE on the November 7 episode of Raw.
