Mia Yim Returns To Impact Wrestling At Under Siege

The former Knockouts champion is back

Former Impact Knockouts champion Mia Yim made her return to Impact Wrestling on Saturday night in Newport, KY, where she confronted fellow former titleholder Deonna Purrazzo.

Purrazzo had just lost to AAA Reina de Reinas champion Taya Valkyrie in a rematch from Rebellion. After the match, Purrazzo attacked Valkyrie, but then the lights went out. Yim then made her return and had a staredown with Purrazzo. When Yim turned her back to check on Valkyrie, Purrazzo tried to attack, but Yim got the upper hand, sending Purrazzo to the floor.

Fightful Select has confirmed that Yim is signed with Impact once more.

Yim previously joined Impact on a full-time basis in 2015. There, she was part of The Dollhouse with tag partner Marti Belle. During this tenure, Yim wrestled under the name Jade.

In March of 2016, Yim won the Knockouts title from Gail Kim. She held the title for nearly three months before losing it to Sienna (Allysin Kay) at that year's Slammiversary.

Yim was released from WWE last November, the same day as husband Keith Lee. Yim's most notable run with WWE came as part of Retribution, where she went by the name Reckoning.
