The Briscoes are the new Impact World Tag Team champions, after defeating Violent By Design at Impact's Under Siege on Saturday night in Newport, KY.

Jay and Mark Briscoe defeated VBD members Eric Young and Cody Deaner to win the titles, pinning Deaner following a Doomsday Device.

The Briscoes turned up in Impact in April, losing to The Good Brothers at Impact's Multiverse of Matches. The two defeated Rhino and Heath at the post-Rebellion TV tapings two weeks ago to earn the title shot at VBD.

Once staples of Ring of Honor, The Briscoes were 12-time Tag Team champions of the organization. Their most recent reign ended last month, when they dropped the belts to FTR at Supercard of Honor, the first ROH event of the Tony Khan era.

Violent By Design's second reign as champions ends after 63 days. This most recent reign began when they defeated The Good Brothers at Sacrifice on March 5 to win the titles. That match was won by Young and Joe Doering, with Deaner permitted to defend the belts as part of the "Freebird Rule".
