Michael Cole Becomes Preston North End's Latest Fan

Could Michael Cole soon find himself sitting inside Deepdale for a Preston North End game? 

Cole was pictured in a Preston North End shirt alongside devout PNE fan and his Raw commentatory partner Wade Barrett, with Barrett claiming that Michael Cole has chosen the Lilywhites as his football team. 

"I told the voice of @WWE (and recent convert to the beautiful game) @MichaelCole he could pick any soccer team in England to support. Any at all. His response: 'There's only one choice: The mighty @PNEFC! And by the way Wade, it's 'football', not 'soccer'.' What a LAD," Barrett tweeted.

Preston North End are happy to have Cole onboard as a supporter, as they also tweeted: "You made the right choice, @MichaelCole. @WWE just loves Preston North End. #pnefc."

Alongside his new passion for Preston North End, Michael Cole is a fan of the New York Mets, New York Jets, and Boston Celtics. 

Preston North End play in the EFL Championship and they are currently fifth in the league, having picked up wins over Swansea City, Sheffield Wednesday, and Sunderland.
