WWE LFG has been renewed for a second season, but it seems Mickie James will not be part of it.

Although season one of LFG is still airing, having only debuted on February 16, A&E are seemingly happy with the reaction to the series so far, green-lighting a second season as announced with the following press release:

“Season two of “WWE LFG” raises the stakes as sixteen new WWE hopefuls battle for the ultimate prize: a coveted spot on NXT, WWE’s premier developmental brand showcasing the industry's brightest rising stars. With even tougher challenges, gruelling in-ring matches, and behind-the-scenes access, viewers will witness the rigorous journey required to make it in WWE. This season will once again feature world-class coaching from legendary WWE icons, offering unparalleled mentorship and insight into what it truly takes to earn a place in the squared circle.”

Whilst season two will see coaches The Undertaker, Booker T and Bubba Ray Dudley return, Mickie James will not, with Michelle McCool set to take over James’ role on the show. There’s been no reason given as to why James has been replaced on the show.
