Mickie James Reveals WWE Sent Her Care Package In Garbage Bag

With her name on it

Mickie James was one of ten individuals released from WWE one week ago, as part of a slew of cuts that also included Samoa Joe, The IIconics, Tucker, and others.

On Thursday, James took to social media to reveal that she had received a "care package" of sorts from WWE, inside of a garbage bag. A piece of green tape bearing her first name was affixed to the side of it.

In an Instagram video captioned, "No lies detected here", James showed off the bag, and said with a laugh, "This is pretty f--king accurate, how I got my stuff. Thanks WWE!"

James also tweeted a photo of the garbage bag, and wrote, "Dear @VinceMcMahon Im not sure if you’re aware, I did receive my @WWE care package today. Thank you. #AlwaysBlessedandGrateful #WomensWrestlingMatters."

After wrestling for WWE from 2005 into 2010, James returned to the promotion in late 2016. Her last match with the company was the 2021 women's Royal Rumble match in January. She'd held six forms of Womens/Divas title across her first tenure.
