Mike Bennett Reportedly Set To Join IMPACT Wrestling

Bennett is a free agent following ROH's hiatus

Mike Bennett is reportedly set to sign for IMPACT Wrestling.

Bennett was previously in IMPACT between 2016-17 and is a former X-Division Champion, and has most recently been working with his wife, Maria, in Ring Of Honor.

However, with ROH going on hiatus and all contracts being cancelled, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted that Bennett is set to re-join IMPACT in early 2022.

Meltzer reports that Bennett had been scheduled to appear on an independent show in January but had to pull out of the booking, something that the promotion says was because it clashed with IMPACT Wrestling tapings.

It is anticipated that Bennett will be joined by his wife, Maria, in re-signing for IMPACT. Maria Kanellis also worked for IMPACT at the same time as Bennett and would frequently appear alongside her husband on shows.

Mike and Maria left the then-TNA in 2017 in order to sign with WWE, but the duo endured a difficult time in the promotion and were eventually released in 2020, prompting their respective returns to ROH.
