Million Dollar Championship Returns On WWE NXT, Ladder Match Set For TakeOver: In Your House

Who will carry the Million Dollar legacy?

Cameron Grimes vs. LA Knight at WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House will now be a Ladder Match for the returning Million Dollar Championship.

Ted DiBiase's 'priceless announcement' on WWE NXT this past week to the two Superstars was that their match at this Sunday's NXT Special will now be a Ladder Match. And waiting at the top of the ladder will be the Title DiBiase himself made iconic - the Million Dollar Championship.

Grimes and Knight have been competing over the last couple of weeks to be the man to take on DiBiase's legacy in WWE and now they will both have the opportunity to literally carry it forward in the form of the Million Dollar Title.

DiBiase first introduced the Million Dollar Championship in 1989 and it lasted until 1992. He then brought back it back in 1995, awarding it to "The Ringmaster" Steve Austin.

It was then brought back in 2010 with DiBiase giving it to his son Ted DiBiase Jr. It was last seen on the Old School Edition of Raw in November 2010.
