Mina Shirakawa Planned For AEW Return

Mina Shirakawa heading back to AEW for tomorrow's Dynamite

Fans won't have to wait long to see Mina Shirakawa back in All Elite Wrestling.

Shirakawa recently announced she would be returning to the United States which meant she would be absent from the STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix. The former Artist of STARDOM Champion has since returned to Ring of Honor, facing Rachael Ellering at the promotion's tapings from Arlington's Esports Stadium on August 10.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has now reported that Shirakawa is booked for Wednesday night's Dynamite taping in Norfolk, Virginia. What Shirakawa will be doing on the show is unknown but she recently told Tokyo Sports that she wants to find out what Mariah May thinks of her following May's turn on Toni Storm. Mariah May will be on Dynamite as she receives her own movie.

A long-absent AEW star is also planned to return soon, possibly as soon as Wednesday night's Dynamite.

Matches announced for Dynamite include Swerve Strickland vs. Wheeler Yuta, Hangman Page vs. Jay Lethal, Mercedes Moné vs. Hikaru Shida for the TBS Title, and an AEW World Tag Team Championship match pitting The Young Bucks against The Acclaimed. Kazuchika Okada and Claudio Castagnoli will also come face-to-face.
