Miro Returns To AEW On Dynamite

First appearance in many months for "The Redeemer"

After an extended absence from AEW television, Miro made his return to AEW on the May 10 episode of Dynamite in Detroit.

Miro briefly appeared in a backstage segment, where he was seen walking down a hallway in his street clothes. Renee Paquette went to interview Miro, but he ignored her question, before quietly entering Tony Khan's office.

Miro has not appeared on AEW programming since September of last year. His most recent match came at last year's All Out, when he teamed with Sting and Darby Allin to defeat The House of Black in a trios bout. After that, there were reported issues between Miro and AEW creative that would keep him away from the ring for an extended time, according to Dave Meltzer.

After being released from WWE as part of the massive wave of cuts in April 2020, Miro turned up in AEW months later, where he first appeared as an associate of Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. Miro went on to hold the TNT championship from May to September 2021.
