FTR Vs. Jeff Jarrett And Jay Lethal Official For AEW Double Or Nothing

With a special guest referee

AEW World Tag Team champions FTR will officially defend their titles against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett at Double or Nothing in two and a half weeks, in a match that will include a special referee.

The two teams had a confrontation on Wednesday's Dynamite, which was disrupted by Mark Briscoe (who has been on friendly terms with both teams). Briscoe revealed that he was named guest referee for the match at Double or Nothing, and proposed a friendly toast among the participants.

During the toast, Sonjay Dutt spewed alcohol into Dax Harwood's eyes, while the rest of the heels jumped Cash Wheeler, beating him down. Briscoe tried to break things up, but was piledriven by a blinded Harwood, who didn't realize who he was attacking.

The current card for AEW Double or Nothing, taking place Sunday, May 28 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, includes the following:

* AEW World Heavyweight: MJF (c) vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy vs. Sammy Guevara

* AEW World Tag Team: FTR (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal (Guest Referee: Mark Briscoe)
