MJF & Adam Cole's Blind Eliminator Tournament Match Added To AEW Dynamite

MJF And Adam Cole Will Have Their First Match As A Team On The July 5 Dynamite

AEW is set to kick off its Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament on the July 5 episode of Dynamite.

The premise of the tournament is that wrestlers will be paired up at random (in storyline) and then be forced to work together to progress.

The most interesting combination announced so far, AEW World Champion MJF and his current rival Adam Cole, will have their first-round match on the July 5 show. Whilst their opponents have not been announced yet, the two foes will be forced to share the ring for the first time since their AEW World Title Eliminator that ended in a 30-minute time-limit draw.

Another Blind Eliminator Tournament match is also scheduled for July 5. Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin will take on the duo of Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.

This is interesting as Strickland and Lee are former championship-winning partners. Strickland formed his new group, The Mogul Affiliates, and attacked Lee back in 2022, ending their time teaming together. Strickland is now part of the Mogul Embassy with the likes of Brian Cage and Gates of Agony.
