John Cena Returns At WWE Money In The Bank 2023, Campaigns For WrestleMania To Be Held In London

WrestleMania in London?!

WWE WrestleMania in London, England??!!

Three months on from his loss to Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39, John Cena made his shock return to WWE TV, appearing during the Money in the Bank pay-per-view from The O2 in London, England.

Cena hyped up the crowd, proclaiming his love for London and the UK fans before he revealed why he was actually at Money in the Bank, revealing that he is there to try and bring WrestleMania to London. Of course, this received a monstrous response from the fans in London, who went wild and made it clear that WrestleMania belongs in the United Kingdom.

Just as Cena began to campaign some more, Grayson Waller interrupted the 16-time world champion and said WrestleMania should actually take place in Australia. Waller noted that Cena was on a losing streak in WWE singles matches and offered him a spot on the Grayson Waller Effect. Cena turned that down which led to Waller attacking him, only for Big Match John to pop up and deck Waller with an Attitude Adjustment to send the London crowd into huge cheers to end the segment.

Fans in the UK have long wanted WrestleMania to take place in the country but WWE only began to hold pay-per-views in the UK again last year with Clash at the Castle.
