The April 5 edition of AEW Dynamite is set to be a stacked affair, with The Gunns vs. FTR Title vs. Careers match set for the show, as well as AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter back in action to defend her title against Riho.

However, April 5 is also set to be known as ‘MJF’ Day’, with yet another celebration for the ever-humble AEW World Champion set for Dynamite. MJF will be hoping for due reverence after his disastrous ‘Re-Bar Mitzvah’ on March 22, a celebration that saw MJF end up with cake literally all over his face.

Also announced for the April 5 Dynamite, The Blackpool Combat Club will explain their actions and aims after a recent campaign of violence against The Elite and Hangman Page. The trio of Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli were once again joined by ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson on the March 29 edition of Dynamite, with Danielson turning heel by nailing Kenny Omega with a Busaiku Knee, before engaging in a four-on-one beatdown of the ‘Best Bout Machine’ with the rest of the BCC.

Announced so far for AEW Dynamite - April 5, 2023:

  • The Gunns (c) vs. FTR - AEW World Tag team Championships vs. FTR’s AEW Career
  • Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Riho - AEW Women's World Championship
