MJF To Defend AEW American Title At RevPro Summer Sizzler Against Michael Oku

MJF vs. Michael Oku at RevPro Summer Sizzler

MJF is bringing his AEW American Championship to the United Kingdom ahead of All In.

Appearing in a video package following Michael Oku's win over Donovan Dijak, MJF announced he would put his AEW American Title on the line against Oku, partly because of Oku's history with Will Ospreay. The match will take place at RevPro Summer Sizzler in London on August 11.

"Michael Oku. Will Ospreay, you earned his respect, which means you have my undying hatred. You are scum of the Earth, you are disgusting, you are scrawny, you are indy trash and you hail, let's face it, from the worst country in the entire world, a third-world country, if we're being honest. I remember the Boston Tea Party. I remember what your people tried to do to mine but we fought back! And I'm ready to fight back, Michael Oku. I'm ready to take you out and prove a point that everybody from the UK, hell everybody from Europe, is a bum," MJF said.

Michael Oku had a series of classic matches with Will Ospreay in RevPro between October 2021 and February 2024, with 'The Master of the Half Crab' finally defeating Ospreay in the AEW star's final independent wrestling match.

MJF is scheduled to defend the AEW American Championship (FKA AEW International Title) against Will Ospreay at All In on Sunday, August 25. The show will emanate from London's Wembley Stadium.
