WWE meets football as Major League Soccer will produce their studio shows and other MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+ content from studios at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, it has been announced today.

The move is due to an expanded production deal with IMG. WWE's parent company TKO is in the process of acquiring IMG and two other companies from Endeavor in a deal that is set to be completed in the coming months. The deal will increase Endeavor's ownership share in TKO to 59 per cent.

IMG Executive Vice President of Studios Barney Francis said:

"Together with MLS and Apple and their other partners, we have set a new standard for the MLS viewing experience, creating a new era of entertaining, highly engaging content for football fans globally. Over the coming years, we will take this to the next level with cutting-edge technology and creativity, powered by our incredible new home, Studios at WWE, and IMG's industry-leading production experience and capabilities."

The move could lead to a return to WWE of sorts for Kevin Egan (AKA Kevin Patrick). The former WWE commentator is the lead host of 'MLS 360', one of the MLS studio shows produced for Apple TV+.
