MLW have announced that their next event will be a co-promoted show with The Crash Lucha Libre, with MLW Azteca finally kicking off in Tijuana, Mexico’s Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez on December 3.

The announcement was made by MLW’s Cesar Duran, saying:

“December 3rd I will take MLW to Mexico for the best luchas in the world, THE CRASH has a fantastic reputation for specular events and now we give the renegades a day of super luchas like never before!”

This will not be the first time that MLW and The Crash will have co-promoted events, with MLW having worked The Crash’s home arena before for a show in October 2019.

It is believed this event will serve as MLW Azteca Underground’s kick-off show, after months of rumours and cancelled plans. Originally, it was believed the Lucha Underground successor was due to debut in September in Tijuana, but these plans were ultimately shelved.

MLW held their latest set of tapings this past weekend, as part of their War Chamber events.
