MLW Sign Nephews Of Dynamite Kid

The Billington Bulldogs are MLW-bound

Major League Wrestling have acquired a promising new tag team.

As revealed on the MLW Insider YouTube show, the Billington Bulldogs - Thomas and Mark Billington - have signed with the company. The Billington Bulldogs are the nephews of former WWE star The Dynamite Kid.

The duo made their MLW debuts at last month's Fightland TV taping in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They teamed with Davey Boy Smith Jr. to take on Bomaye Fight Club's Myron Reed, Mr. Thomas and Alex Kane in a match that has yet to air.

The length of their contract was not disclosed, however it was announced that the Bulldogs will perform at MLW's Blood & Thunder TV taping on January 7 (also in Philadelphia).

The Billington Bulldogs have been wrestling on the UK independent scene since 2018. They have recently been wrestling in Canada and training with Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Bret Hart.

Their uncle is generally considered to be one of the most revolutionary wrestlers of all-time, vaunted for his classic matches with New Japan's original Tiger Mask (Satoru Sayama) in the early 1980's.

After many years of suffering ill health, The Dynamite Kid passed away on his sixtieth birthday (December 5, 2019).
