Montez Ford Reveals Why A Frog Splash Is His Finishing Move

Montez Ford explains why he uses a Frog Splash

Montez Ford has one of the most impressive Frog Splashes in professional wrestling and the reason the former Raw Tag Team Champion uses the move is very much a unique one.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture ahead of WrestleMania 38, Ford revealed he adopted the Frog Splash as his finishing move because he is afraid of heights.

"That's why I chose it as my finishing move. Paying homage to all the greats that did it before me, Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam but yes every single time {he's afraid}. I treat it the way Batman treats bats like Batman is afraid of bats so he wears a batsuit to spark his fear into everyone else. So I chose the frog splash because I am afraid of heights, so I use that fear onto everyone else. So that's a little secret there I don't think I've ever said that before," Montez Ford said.

Ford will be in action at WrestleMania 38 when he and Angelo Dawkins challenge RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championship in a Triple Threat also featuring Alpha Academy.
