More Title Matches Set For WWE NXT Battleground

Two title matches have been added to the WWE NXT Battleground special, which is set to air from Lowell, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 28. 

The semi-finals of the NXT Women's Title tournament took place on the May 23 edition of NXT as Lyra Valkyria took on Cora Jade and Tiffany Stratton faced Roxanne Perez. After both matches, it was Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria who advanced to the final. Valkyria will walk into Battleground with a possible storyline injury, though, after being attacked with a kendo stick post-match by Cora Jade. 

Gallus will also put the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against The Creed Brothers at Battleground. The Creeds interrupted a Gallus promo on this week's NXT and a brawl soon broke out, with Stacks of the D'Angelo family on the side of the Creed Brothers against Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang.
