Mr Blobby To Make Pro Wrestling Return

Mr Blobby will be back in a pro wrestling ring in time for Christmas

Mr Blobby in two professional wrestling matches in 2023? What a year it has been!

The beloved 1990s character has been featured in pro wrestling over the past 14 months, having initially made his debut at the Gloworm Festival in August 2022. Mr Blobby seemingly picked up the wrestling bug from this brief appearance as he made his pro wrestling return in January 2023 when he was an entrant in Riot Cabaret Pro Wrestling's 90s Rumble at their Vultures Against The Machine event.

After some absolutely brutal short-arm lariats, Blobby was ultimately eliminated from the Rumble.

Now, Riot Cabaret have been back in contact with Mr Blobby and the seven-foot monster is set to challenge Charles Crowley and Session Moth Martina for the Riot Cabaret Tag Team Championships at Jingle Bell Brawl on Tuesday, December 19. The event will be held at the Clapham Grand from 7:30 pm GMT.

Mr Blobby's tag team partner has not been revealed but other beloved children's TV characters from the 1990s include Brum, Bob the Builder, Postman Pat Clifton, and all of the Teletubbies. Blobby is also closely associated with Noel Edmonds, having been featured on Noel's House Party.

Blobby got his start with Edmonds and Blobby has remained popular to this day and can often be seen walking around and bumping into things while yelling "Blobby Blobby Blobby!". Blobby even has a Christmas #1 to his name, having topped the charts with 'Mr Blobby' in 1993.
