MSK Thank Fans For Support Following WWE NXT Tag Team Title Loss

They plan on getting the title back too

MSK's reign as NXT Tag Team Champions came to an end at 202 days earlier this week after Imperium defeated Wes Lee and Nash Carter in a Lumberjack O Lantern Match on the special Halloween Havoc edition of NXT 2.0.

The former champions have now shown their appreciation to the fans who supported them, with Nash Carter tweeting: "It has been a wild 10 months since our debut in @WWENXT and having a 200 day as NXT Tag Team Championship reign has been a dream come true. Thank you all for standing by us, loving us, and giving us your energy and support. WE LOVE YOU! This is only the beginning!"

Wes Lee then added: "From the bottom, middle and top of our hearts…THANK YALL!! Your love and support has been a major driving force for us and we appreciate it more than y'all know. 200 days…we'll surpass that when we get our babies back!!"

After a run in IMPACT Wrestling with Trey Miguel as The Rascalz, Wes Lee and Nash Carter debuted on WWE NXT as MSK in the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in January. The new team would go on to win the tournament, defeating Grizzled Young Veterans in the final, and they would capture the vacated NXT Tag Team Championship a couple of months later at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

MSK's appreciation for their fans comes at a time when the tag team have been booed on NXT 2.0. Rumours on social media and Reddit over the last several months had claimed the boos originated from a small group of NXT fans trying to sabotage Lee and Carter. It was then reported earlier this week that the boos were initiated by the parents of wrestling superfan Izzy and their close friends.
