Muhammad Ali Added To WWE 2K24

‘The Greatest’ Muhammad Ali added to WWE 2K24

The legendary Muhammad Ali is set to make his WWE video game debut, after it was revealed that Ali will be in the upcoming WWE 2K24 video game.

In-game footage of ‘The Greatest’ is shown at the end of the latest trailer for the video game, with Ali in his boxing attire shadow-boxing in the ring.

Ali memorably served as the ringside enforcer/additional guest referee during the main event of WrestleMania I in 1985, with Ali getting involved in the tag match between Hulk Hogan & Mr. T against Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff. Ali was also involved in some capacity with the NJPW/WCW Collision in Korea event in 1995, with Ali enjoying a close friendship with Antonio Inoki after their proto-MMA fight in 1976.

WWE started to produce official Ali merchandise in 2023, with Mattel releasing a special edition figure of Ali to commemorate both his in-ring career and his role at WrestleMania I.

WWE 2K24 is set to release on March 8, 2024 with three distinct editions of the game to be released. Following on from the airing of allegations against Vince McMahon that allude to the involvement of Brock Lesnar, Lesnar has been replaced on the cover of the ‘WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition’ with John Cena filling in for Lesnar.
