WWE To Hold Double Tapings Of SmackDown & NXT Next Week

WWE will have bumper tapings of NXT and Friday Night SmackDown next week.

According to PWInsider, WWE NXT will tape two shows from the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday, February 13. One of the shows will air live next week while the other show will air on February 20. 

WWE will implement a similar strategy for Friday Night SmackDown on February 16 with one live episode and a taping for the show that will air on February 23. WWE won't tape a live edition of SmackDown on February 23 due to the travel involved with going to Australia for Elimination Chamber. 

Elimination Chamber will air from Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday, February 24. The show will begin at 10 am GMT/5 am ET. 

Talents will begin travelling to Australia following the February 19 edition of Raw in Anaheim, California. Some SmackDown talents will be at the taping to travel Down Under after the show. 

Already confirmed for Elimination Chamber is a women's Elimination Chamber match. Rhea Ripley will also defend the Women's World Championship against Nia Jax.
