Rhea Ripley Match Official For WWE Elimination Chamber

Rhea Ripley's opponent for the next Australian WWE premium live event has been confirmed.

Rhea Ripley's opponent for WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 has been revealed.

The show - set to take place on February 24 in Perth, Australia - will surely see the Australian Ripley earn a huge reception as she defends the Women's World Championship.

Her opponent on the night is set to be Nia Jax, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirming the bout on last night's show. Jax then attacked Rhea and beat her down.

Despite usually playing the role as a heel alongside her Judgment Day stablemates, Ripley is often one of the red brand's more popular fan favourites. This - along with Nia's unquestionable heel status - sets Rhea up nicely to be a unanimous babyface once WWE hits Australia.

However, this will presumably only be a temporary turn on the road to WrestleMania 40, where Ripley's opponent is thought to be babyface Becky Lynch.

Becky is the only confirmed entrant in Elimination Chamber's titular match this year (although presumably a men's Chamber bout will also be added.)

Lynch will take on the winner of Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Stark, as well as four other Superstars to determine Rhea's number one contender for WrestleMania.

Alongside the women's Chamber, and the Women's World Championship match between Ripley and Nia, the only other confirmed bout on the card so far will see Finn Balor and Damian Priest defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles. However, their opponents aren't certain yet, as DIY will take on Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate for the opportunity.
