Multiple Returns On WWE NXT
Several familiar faces returned to NXT
The October 25 edition of WWE NXT saw multiple returns, as well as the potential formation of a new faction.
After Legado Del Fantasma made the jump to SmackDown with Zelina Vega pulling the strings, questions were asked as to the future of Elektra Lopez. However, after Indi Hartwell defeated Sol Ruca on October 25, Lopez made her return to NXT, making a big statement by beating down both competitors. It remains to be seen what side of the heel/face coin Lopez lands on going forward.
Lopez wasn’t the only return on October 25, as after nine months of inactivity Odyssey Jones returned to NXT, making his grand arrival in a truck with some unnamed women. Jones was on hand to tell Edris Enofe and Malik Blade that they were going to have a good time, lifting the spirits of Blade and Enofe after a tag team title challenge loss against Unified NXT Tag Teams Champions Pretty Deadly.
Jones had been sidelined by a major patella injury, undergoing surgery earlier in 2022. A standout of the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament, Jones last wrestled for NXT in January.
