Second edition of rebooted WWE Saturday Night's Main Event taking shape
Jan 14, 2025
Two matches have been added to the second edition of the rebooted WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. The show will be held on January 25 in San Antonio, Texas.
Gunther will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line at Saturday Night's Main Event against Jey Uso. The match was set up on Monday's edition of Raw.
Bron Breakker will defend the Intercontinental Title against Sheamus at SNME. The match came together on Raw following Sheamus's win over Ludwig Kaiser. Sheamus has been involved in the Intercontinental Title picture once again in recent months, unsuccessfully challenging for the title on the November 11, 2024 edition of Raw and at Survivor Series.
Saturday Night's Main Event will be quarterly specials on NBC. Following January 25, the next edition of SNME will be on May 24. Saturday Night's Main Event will also seemingly be going head-to-head with AEW All In Texas on July 12, with both shows set to take place on the same day.
